What's worked and what will work in Graskop
Eindelik on Setlaars has been our first listing in the small town of Graskop, South Africa. With over 100 bookings in its maiden year of operation, this cabin has been a favourite with both local and international travellers.

In mid 2025, we look forward to introducing our second listing, also in Graskop. This new cabin is located on the outskirts of town, with a Mountain View and private access from a two-track paved road. We won't say too much more just yet - neither in words, nor in the accompanying photo (taken from the front veranda)...

Still mulling a bit on Bushbuckridge
Something that seems so sweet, and yet has us contemplating the proposition, is our small organic coffee farm in Bushbuckridge.
This former homeland area, in the east of Mpumalanga Province, is home to over half a million people - many of whom were born into families that were resettled here during the unstable apartheid years. Half a century later, Bushbuckridge is a wonderful mix of tribal cultures, and a strange blend of rural and urban landscapes.
Should we establish a rental unit here? We're mulling this over and would love to hear from you. How would you like to be able to spend time in a dynamic and safe, contemporary African place?

Sure, we've had a surprisingly large number of wonderfully happy visitors. So that probably says quite a lot.
To add a touch of realism though, we should probably mention the AirBnB accolade. Yes. It is a nice thing. We have enjoyed Super Host status for most of the time since we've been open (including now).
